Consumers already have all kinds of smart devices that they control via an app. With the smart motors and the app from BREL HOME, consumers can now also control their indoor and outdoor sunshades; all that is needed is a wifi hub. Choosing BREL HOME means opting for user-friendliness: één app for controlling all products containing a smart motor from BREL. With the BREL HOME App, up to 30 motors can be controlled.  

The new WiFi motor

BREL HOME is continuously innovating. Recently, the range has been expanded with the 230-volt Wifi motors. The beauty of a BREL HOME Wifi motor is that it no longer requires a HUB but is directly registered on the home's wifi network. Only the BREL HOME App is needed for setup and control. Currently, the focus is on the bi-directional 40Nm motor for awnings and screens. In the future, the 230-volt Wifi motors for shutters, drop-arm awnings, and screens of 10Nm, 20Nm, and 40Nm will also be added to the range.

The new WiFi motor has several features. The end positions (upper and lower position) are (automatically) electronically adjusted, a preferred position can be set, and the motor is equipped with obstacle stop detection if desired. And in the BREL HOME App, every position and situation can naturally be recorded with scenarios. Because it is a bi-directional motor, the App knows exactly where the product is located. A practical advantage is that the motor also remains a regular radio motor, so it can also be operated with a standard BREL remote control.

Currently, the 40Nm WiFi motor is in stock at BREL HOME. This is the BZE45-40 motor, suitable for awnings and screens. Another popular product is the BRE45-20. An electronic radio motor with obstacle stop detection, specially for shutters. This motor will also be equipped with the WiFi function and added to the BREL HOME range.
