In 1986, Hans Knoop and his parents founded Remason Sunshades and Shutters in Apeldoorn. Hans was 17 years old at the time. “We were asked through a connection to start a dealership. The sunshade industry was new to us, but we were quite handy and learned quickly.”
All-round specialist Remason
Remason is an assembler. The company sources parts and materials, including motors from BREL HOME, to assemble sunshades. They deliver their end products to individuals, businesses, and institutions throughout the Netherlands and abroad. Hans: “We specialize in drop-arm and retractable awnings, screens, canopies, shutters, conservatory sunshades, and skylight sunshades.
Remason is known for its solutions in difficult situations. Where others say no, we usually say yes. Since we started using BREL SOLAR solutions, it has only become easier. Additionally, we supply all types of screens for windows and doors from our own factory. We guarantee service and quality.”

“Working in the sunshade industry is fun. Once you're in this industry, you never leave”, laughs Hans. “It's all about people, you have great contacts, you work with beautiful products, you get happy from good solutions. The whole package is fantastic. The trips abroad, where explanation or training is needed, are the icing on the cake.”
