Harry Boonstra (Fasola Zonwering): "The BREL HOME solutions are simple for us and our customers"

In the sunshade industry, the demand for sustainable and innovative solutions is growing. Harry Boonstra, owner of Fasola Zonwering, is responding to this by collaborating with BREL HOME for the past three years. “The introduction felt right immediately. Now, the easy-to-process and operate BREL SOLAR solutions are an important part of our company.”

Harry Boonstra has been an entrepreneur for 25 years. For the past 6 years, he has also been active in the sunshade industry. “This industry is large and becoming increasingly important,” he says. “We want to actively contribute to it.”

Fasola Zonwering is located in his Hubo store in Slochteren. “We operate in the Groningen region and serve our customers with sunshades such as shutters and zipscreens from the German brand Heroal, among others. These products protect them from heat and cold én provide energy savings.”

Introduction to BREL HOME: ‘that is a nice company’
The collaboration with BREL HOME came about through Heroal. Harry explains: “We were getting more and more requests for solar solutions, but we couldn't deliver them yet. Heroal tipped us off about the BREL SOLAR products. I contacted BREL HOME and spoke with Erik Budding, one of the two owners. The connection was immediate. I thought: ‘Hey, that's a nice company’. And solid. That's very important to us. We started a collaboration, and it is still going very smoothly.”

BREL Solar as a growing branch
“We integrate the BREL SOLAR solutions ourselves into the Heroal sunshades. Our customers are happy with them. Solar is now an important part of our company and it is still growing,” Harry says enthusiastically. “We started with the solar products, but now we are also increasingly working with other BREL HOME solutions, such as the 230V motors.”

No-nonsense collaboration
Harry speaks very positively about the collaboration with BREL. “Despite BREL HOME's growth, the company still feels ‘small’. The contact is direct, solution-oriented, and no-nonsense. We appreciate that. If there is anything, we just give them a call.”

What Harry especially appreciates about BREL HOME's products is the simplicity. The installers are also enthusiastic about it. “The systems are easy to use, both for us as a supplier and for our customers. We don't always see that in the market.”

View on the future
The entrepreneur looks to the future with confidence. “We want to further expand the sunshade branch and look forward to new developments such as BREL MATTER and BREL SMART BUILDING. We have now been appointed as a premium dealer. That is a compliment for us and at the same time a nice challenge to apply even more BREL motors.”
